Welcome to Gema Travel SV. By accessing and using our website www.gematravelsv.com and our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Definitions
Client: a natural or legal person who contracts tourism services with Gema Travel SAS de CV.
Services: tour packages, transfers, excursions, bookings, and experiences offered by Gema Travel SAS de CV.
Provider: hotels, lodging services, transport companies, guides, and other third parties involved in the execution of the services.
Booking Conditions
All bookings must be made at least 5 days in advance.
To guarantee your spot, a minimum payment of 50% of the total package value is required.
The remaining balance must be paid before the tour start date.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 15 days in advance: 75% refundable.
Cancellations between 14 and 7 days: 50% refundable.
Cancellations less than 7 days before: non-refundable.
In cases of force majeure (extreme weather, natural disasters, social conflicts), rescheduling without penalty will be offered.
Liability
Gema Travel SAS de CV acts as an intermediary between the client and providers. We are not responsible for losses, damages, delays, or inconveniences caused by third parties.
Traveler Documentation
It is the client’s responsibility to carry valid documentation and comply with migration or health requirements established by local or foreign authorities.
Website Use
Use of this website for fraudulent purposes or to harm others is prohibited.
All content (texts, images, logos) is the property of Gema Travel SAS de CV or its licensors.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page and become effective once updated.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our goal is to offer flexibility while ensuring fair conditions for all parties involved. Please read our updated cancellation and refund terms carefully:
Cancellation by the Client
More than 15 days before the trip:
75% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Between 14 and 7 days before the trip:
50% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Less than 7 days before the trip:
No refund will be issued. However, we may offer partial credit toward a future trip, at our discretion.
No-shows or same-day cancellations:
Non-refundable.
Changes and Rescheduling
Clients may request a change of date or modify the itinerary up to 7 days before the tour without penalty, subject to availability.
Less than 7 days before the tour, any rescheduling may incur an additional fee depending on supplier conditions.
Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (extreme weather, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, etc.), GEMA Travel SV will offer:
Full rebooking at no extra charge for a future date, or
A travel credit valid for up to 12 months, or
A partial refund, depending on the specific circumstances and commitments already made with suppliers.
Cancellation by GEMA Travel SV
In the rare event that we must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:
A full refund, or
The option to reschedule or transfer the payment to another package.
Refund Processing
All approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days to the original payment method. Some processing delays may occur depending on your financial institution.
